There isn't really much going on at Sun Region at the present moment. Mayday Mayhem was held at the beginning of May and I understand a fabulous time was had by all who attended. They are thankful to both those who attended and those who sent donations.

Jineen, Adrienne and I will be attending the Region Board of Director's meeting up in Ponte Verde, FL from Sept. 24-26. Remember that you don't need to be a board member to attend. Anyone is invited and it is a very rewarding experience. You get to meet your stitching "sisters" and get some great ideas. See either one of us if you are interested in attending.

Make a note on your calendar that the EGA National Seminar will be held on September 11-16, 2011 in Naples (right in our own backyard). Remember that all EGA members are eligible for early registration for this seminar from September 1, 2010 through September 15, 2010. All the information on how to go about this is explained in detail on the last page of your June NeedleArts Magazine. Also, the faculty is listed on the inside of the front cover. There are some great teachers listed. I can't wait until September 1st to go on the EGA website, www.egausa.org to see the class descriptions. Of course, those attending the 2010 seminar in San Francisco will see the actual pieces being offered. I will keep you updated on deadlines, etc.

Speaking of websites, I strongly suggest that you visit both the EGA's website and Sun Region's website, www.sunregionega.org and by the way, if you haven't done so already, don't forget to download your own copy of the Sun News.
