Indian River Chapter, EGA Welcome to the Internet home of the
Indian River Chapter, EGA!

If the print on these pages is too small to read, please click on View in your browser toolbar, then Zoom. You can continue to increase the font size by repeatedly clicking Ctrl++.

An alternate method requires that the user have a mouse with a scroll wheel. Hit the Control key and keep it pressed. Now, move the scroll wheel and see what happens - scrolling the wheel away from your hand will decrease the font size while if you scroll it towards your hand, the font size will increase. This works with Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox but apparently not with AOL.

The Indian River Chapter

We are a very active chapter of approximately 65 members who meet regularly throughout Brevard County, Florida. If you live in our area, are just here for the season, or are on vacation, we would love to have you join us!

Use the navigation bar on the left to get acquainted with our chapter! Noteworthy items can be found in This 'N' That. If you have time to browse, please visit our Community Outreach and Chapter Scrapbook pages. Both have an assortment of images of chapter activities. However long you are able to stay, please don't forget to sign our guestbook and bookmark our site!

Upcoming chapter meetings:

-     June 2018 General Meeting 9:30 a.m. to noon, Front Street Civic Center, Melbourne. Our own Christine Kampmeyer will present a class in framing and best ways to frame your needlework. Christine is a progressional framer and produces the most wondrous custom mats to enhance your needlework! Come and learn! We also ask members to bring in their stash-buster mini-project and show us how you interpreted the design!
-     July 2018 is our GIVING month. We normally have several charities present their needs to our group and how we can help them throughout the year. The list for the Haven is in the latest IRC newsletter. The Haven could also use a donation of your time and materials to make a unique dinner with the children one night! We also need toiletries for Daily Bread. We need small kits, puzzle books, pencils, colored pencils, etc. for the Veteran Hospital. Please continue to stitch a sampler for Habitat for Humanity. If you can, bring checks or monetary donations for each of the groups.
-     August 2018 program will be our book sale! Please start collecting your books, leaflets, and magazines. Remember this is for any books, from autobiographies to zoo animals!
-     And SAVE THE DATES: IRC/EGA Retreat: October 13, 2018; IRC/EGA Holiday Luncheon, December 17, 2018

See the Programs page for more info.
